Cancelation Policy

We require a 50% deposit to confirm and guarantee any reservation. The remaining balance must be paid at the check-in time.
Any cancellations with less than 72-hours notice prior to the check-in time will not receive deposit refunds.
Any request for a cancellation or modification must be submitted in writing. The same rules apply for both cancellations andmodifications.
Any no-shows will be charged 100% of the reservation total after24-hours from the check-in time if no notification is received by ElMisti Hostels.
We recommend that all guests purchase traveler’s insurance to protectthemselves from any unforeseen circumstances. In the case that youneed to make an insurance claim, El Misti Hostels will help you in anyway possible including providing documentation, etc.
*Cancelations for groups of 6 or more people must be made with atleast a full 2 (two) week’s notice. In this case, the group maycollect 100% of their deposit paid to El Misti (not including depositsmade through 3rd party sites). Any cancellations made withinsufficient notice will not have any portion of the deposit refunded.
*Cancelations for the New Years Package can only be made before Nov.30 and are 100% refundable (not including deposits made through 3rdparty sites). Any cancellations made after that date will not havedeposits refunded. 
*Cancelations for the Carnaval Package can only be made up until Dec.31, 100% reimbursable. Any cancellations made after that date will nothave deposits refunded.

Transfer Free

El Misti Hostel offers you a free pick up from the airport or bus station to our hostel for free. This service is offered for free to our passengers with a minimum stay of 3 nights and that have already confirmed the booking with one of our payment methods.
Please note that in case of delays in the air-flights, the passanger is responsible to inform to El Misti Hostel about the new arrival time.
In case the passanger has not informed to our staff about the delay, El Misti Hostelwon´t be responsible for the transfer charge. The passanger will have to be responsible for the total amount of the transfer in.

This free transfer service is offered between 07.00 am to 22.00 pm.
The free transfer is offered for the New Year & Carnaval packages between 08.00 am to 20.00 pm.

In case you require a transfer outside this schedule, we offer you the possibility of booking it with us to a rate of R$ 50.-
